A Guide to UP Enrollment
- Get 8 hours of sleep because I didn’t and regretted it since it made me want to punch everybody in the face.
- Breakfast is a must. PANCAKES, MIGHT I SUGGEST.
- Be early (and yes, it is much better if you get there even before the janitor of your college arrives because that way you get seat number one.)
- Bring an umbrella
to hit people with when they cut in lineto protect you from the sun/rain.- Wear comfortable and functional clothes. Do not wear shorts when it’s rainy because your legs get mud spots whenever you walk so you’ll wind up looking like a dalmatian in clothing.
- It’s tempting, but don’t listen to your iPod while in line because you can miss announcements.
- Do not fall asleep when in line (…….)
- Do not scream in frustration or curse aloud when you find out that the class you want is out of slots because people will look.
- Keep the baggage light because heavy ones tend to slow you down when you have to run for a spot in line.
- Do not complain because no one has time to listen to you.
- Know where to go because well, I literally spent a good ten minutes just running around an entire floor without accomplishing anything.
- ASK QUESTIONS ANYTIME ANYWHERE BECAUSE IF YOU DON’T YOU WILL DIE.
- Know your way around FC because to me it looks like the maze from Alice in Wonderland. (Leave breadcrumbs if needed)
- Don’t be shy
PUSH PEOPLE- Expect long lines. (They don’t call it University of Pila for nothing.)
- Use your charm.
- Bring a pen because the authorities seem to get REALLY PISSED if you don’t because when you ask for one they’d just be like >___>
- Bring a plastic envelope for your papers, especially Form 5A, because at the end of the day mine looked like it got run over by 43 derby trucks.
- Do rejoice when you finish everything.
- Sleep and eat x102948420249392439403 when you get home.

2nd Sem AY2011-2012 Course Ranking (Week 0)
1. PE 2 Cheerdance/Pio Opinaldo - This is my 2nd PE in UP ever that’s why I’m so excited for this. And I really want to take this PE for one reason: UP Pep Squad. I even prepared myself for this. I jogged 3 days and worked out (weights). During the preenlistment, I risked the other subjects (83% are majors) by putting them under PE on my priority list. Well, it paid off. I got all the subjects I need (and I want)!
2. Physics 103.1/Carlos Baldo III - Runner up! Sir Baldo was my 102.1 (where I got my only uno last sem) prof and he’s really nice especially to our group! Hope this will be another wonderful Physics lab. It’s a Monday class though. Goodbye, alarm-free Mondays!
3. Physics 112/Danilo Yanga - I fucked up my 111 last sem and I really regret it! I have no idea who the prof is but I’m gonna redeem myself! Watch out, Mathematical Physics!
4. Math 121.1/Concealed - The ‘.1’ in this course is freakin’ me out. Is that a Mathematical laboratory class? My goodness! Well, I’m expecting it to be exciting. I’m still hoping that the prof is sir Dee (or sir Vicman).
5. Physics 103/Wilson Garcia - I really don’t know what to expect on this course. I’m too lazy to Google the course description of Phys103 or to ask my classmate. I have no idea with the prof too except from the fact that we both share the same surname.
6. Arkiyoloji 1/Jack Gilbert Medrana - This is a 5:30-7pm class. I enlisted it ‘cause I’m staying away from BI’s. LOL. My friends’ classes end at, latest is 5:30 pm, so after my class I’ll go straight home (But I might watch a last full show on a Friday).
7. Bio 11/TBA - Biology is my kryptonite. I don’t know why! I love history, I can memorize lyrics of songs but I can’t remember Biological terms! Oh wait look, my prof is Tito Boy Abunda! #korny
